Dreaming of a White Christmas

It is good to be home from my journey... every step of the way God took care of me and answered my prayers. It was gorgeous weather in Florida and it was snowing here at home.

I feel so blessed by my family and friends here. I missed you all dearly and am glad to be back to celebrate Jesus' birth together.

Looking back over my first months in San Jose.... I can see how God answered prayers. When I first got there we had only 2 students and in a matter of a few months our school grew to between 11 - 13 students. We also made soo many contacts and were able to network with a lot of organizations in San Jose who are currently working with children at risk and who need a lot of support. Perhaps our most beneficial contact was with Red Viva who is an organization constructed with the sole intention to help contact and resource organizations working to better the lives of children all over the world. They we will be working along side us to help us out in any way we may need, instructors, material, tools, etc. Viva was founded by a YWAMer and he is coming to San Jose in January. We are praying that he could make an appearance at our school to challenge our students as to what one guy in his early twenties did.... start a world-wide organization and pioneer a new movement with the urgency of protecting this generation and the one to come. He is now only in his 30s and has a branch of his ministry in many countries around the world. Aditionally God has been providing many speakers. Many who we will not have to fly in, which is a huge blessing as we are a pioneering school, thus having basically no budget to afford even materials for our new school.

I am sooo excited to see what God will be doing this coming season.
