day one of a new beginning

I arrived safely after a turbulent flight.... saying goodbye to friends and family was difficult but I am definitely glad to be here.

God is faithful to work out every little detail. I walked out of the airport to the curb in the midst of chaos to hear my name being called as Scott and Leslie were driving by to pick me up. I couldn't have asked for more perfect timing... It felt very good to hear someone who knew me in the midst of the chaos. They were so welcoming and loving. I already love that family dearly! I can't wait to meet Jessi and start our journey together!

Later I was a bit overwhelmed with all the people I was being introduced to trying to find some solitude but I have felt blessed by everyone's kindess and hospitality.

As I was praying... I felt an overwhelming peace and comfort that I have arrived to a place where I am supposed to be and feel it is my home. I can't explain it. It could be only God.

Leslie told me later that she had to contain her excitement upon my arrival. I feel blessed again that I am needed, wanted and have a place her in this new home.
